OEM Bimmer Parts

Subject: That is the correct cable list. They are all in the trunk and easy.

Here's a great post with a picture that show how they all are connected.

Everything fits in the trunk, and it is intuitively obvious when you get the radio and the adapter cables in front of you. This is very easy in an E39, where the radio is super accessible.

You may not need the CD audio input cable, PN 61.12-0.140.718, as some cars are pre-wired with the analog audio cable as well as the coax DSP cable. If you do not have DSP, then you will definitely not need the -718 cable, since your car would have the analog audio cable.

If you have DSP, then you will run the -718 cable to the IceLink instead of using the A/D converter. If you do not have DSP, then you will not need to change anything with the IceLink.
