Just upgraded a 2003 E66 745Li from what looked like a MKII cd nav box to a MKIV DVD nav box.
Straight forward plug and play no carting off to BMW to have anything reset or enabled

Q? can u watch flim DVD's on the front screen somehow?
is there a way to? can CD's DVD films be watched anyway thru the main TV screen funtion?

fuel saving tip...........

Automatic box, with the ignition in position 1, press start without foot on the brake pedal, remove foot. now press down accelerator right thru the kick-down and keep there for 30 seconds. This will reset to adaptive driving (engine/gearbox) and hopefully give u more miles to the gallon. I was at around combined 20 mpg now get 24 mpg
