Subject: Re: Anybody using a 5th Gen BT module with the iPhone?

I have a 2001 X5 that I had the 5th gen ULF installed after market so I could use the BT Razr, I never had any issues with the Razr and the 5th gen ULF, but I could not get it to work correctly with the iPhone. Today I replaced the ULF with the 13th gen ULF, and so far everything seems to be working correctly.

The address book loads, I can make calls by using the steering wheel controls going thru the addresses. I can make calls using the voice recognition SW. I can make calls by clicking on the phone number on the iPhone itself. Sound quality is very clear.

Replacing the ULF was a breeze.

Since I just did it this morning, I haven't stressed it at all, but I'm smiling just at the thought of being able to be hands-free again! I didn't realize how much I had come to depend on it until I couldn't use it for the past 2 months.
