Actually that is my old F4 Squadron VF21. We were the first F4 Squadron to have a confirmed Mig kill with an F4 and first to use the Sparrow missile to get the kill. Commander Frank was CO. - he was shot down and spent the rest of the war as a POW. No one knew until after the war that he was even alive when they exchanged prisoners. His RIO Cdr. Dorimus was killed when they were hit.

We came home November of '05 and the Midway went in for complete overhaul, I heard it was never the same.

God, it seems like yesterday and that was over 40 years ago.........
