I thought I read something on one of the postings about someone using a P.I.E Ford CD Changer Adapder model # FDRC/Pc-Knn on their E46 series to adapt their IPOD. Apparently this adapter plugs right into the existing cd-changer harness in the trunk and the other end is where the IPOD plugs in. This allows the use of thr steering wheel controls.
If this is a lot of b.s., does anyone know of another adapter that will work with the existing controls inexpensively, i.e, under $100.
