That sunroof cover is full of s*#$%t, just pull it out and throw it away. It has a tendency of sitting on the sunroof rail, resulting in a serious damage to the motor. Don't worry even if your sunroof is made of class, coz that class is UV protected, so the sun won't affect you. I have done this to my first BWM 328 and my current 325 2001 model. I had to replace the motor on my 328 because of that cover and I removed it after fitting a new motor, last month the sunroof of my 325 2001 model was left open the whole night because of that cover, in the morning I pulled the cover out and the sunroof closes and opens smoothly since then, so i just can't stand seeing it again. The sooner the better
