Subject: Re: 02 745i stalling and Enging Malfunction - Any Suggestions

Per the Service Advisor my problem with the vehicle stalling/engine shutting down at low speeds (30-40 mph) or at a complete stop is due to the throttle body malfunctioning. I was told that the throttle body will be replaced and software adjusted. Not sure whether anything else was damaged in the process but I plan on running my 745i very hard once I get it back to see if anything else fails. I had recently had a coolant leak underneath the engine and they pretty much had to rip into the engine to replace the leaking part. I was told it was the coolant transfer line. Not sure if anyone else has had the problem.
