I did a full detail of my jet black '01 740i recently, which included wash, clay bar, wash, and PC-application of all of Menzerna's products (Power Gloss (compound), Intensive Polish, Final Polish II, Finishing Touch Glaze, and FMJ). These products made a significant improvement, but I wouldn't call the end result "perfect" (I got motivated to do this after attending the 24th Annual Deutsche Marque Concours). My friends and neighbors are impressed (many wondered if I was getting ready to sell the car), but I'd still like to kick it up a notch. Perhaps the Zaino treatment Alex mentioned. While Menzerna is not cheap, it's still less expensive than Zaino - but sometimes you really do get what you pay for...
