so later exhaust will not fit. Later engine will fit with some small mod but later exhaust can't fit so you'll lose some power. All 3.5L in E32, E34 from 88-92 has more power than earlier M30, but all are bullet proof just not equal HP.

Best is to buy a 83-newer Euro with 3.5L 218hp and lightweight car. These will run faster than the E34/E32 3.5L eng and no extra cost for engine upgrade.
