The pressure sense system uses transmitters in each valve, transmitting data to a receiver in each wheel well.
As the valves are special, there will be a warning label somewhere on the car - probably by the tyre pressure label - the label alerts you to the special valves.

RDC = Reifen Druck System = Tyre Pressure System = valve based system

If your manual discusses RDC, then you'll have the valve-based system

You need the BMW diagnostic system to determine which valve is not working properly.
