yup, son hates distributors. Part of new breed. Had no problem with pulling a head, in/out the dist, while he understands the principle, was my easy task. His is I think a late 90's. I call it the GRAPE. Acquired from a Ca female that thought purple was cool. Anyway he make 1 and 1/2 a cross country trip last year when Uncle in some weird wisdom decided an Armor Officer would make a good Civil Affairs officer in I. (long story - but wisdom of another sort prevailed).
Last 1/2 back rotary as usual blew up. [I had a rx2 rocket so the round engine not unknown. I even paid $75 for one for parts with the engine in the front seat. What a deal. Class action suit netted me
$225 plus lots of parts]. So he rented a truck and trailer, loaded the rx and hauled home - ever done that?. Just about done. Waiting for the fabricator to finish the subframe to support the V8 and 4l60E.
His last visit home we added a roll bar. He may race as the grape, then again probably paint. I still have his (our) 2002 for that endeavor. cul.
