I spent a few hours at SPRINT trying out the new phones on my 9th Gen ULF module equipped E38. Below are my test results

I did not test the Treo/Blackberry phones as they have been covered well by others. The Tre 700w and other Windows Mobile 5 phones need the www.jetwaremobile.com software.

All phones had latest firmware loaded on phones, and ULF was 9th Gen

Samsung A920 Voice supported/Phone book Automatic transfer (only one number per contact, auto and all numbers per contact when done manually). To load manually set BMW in Pairing mode and use the send contact feature in the contacts list or under the options for the BMW ULF paired device. $149

Samsung A900 Voice supported/Phone book Manual transfer $99

Samsung A640 Voice supported/Phone book Automatic transfer (only one number per contact, auto and all numbers per contact when done manually). $29

Sanyo KATANA pairs but drops connection - NON supported in current phone software

SPRINT FUSIC pairs but limited support. It seems to only work part of the time - NON supported in current phone software

Sony Ericsson T608 Voice supported/Phone book Automatic transfer

*Previous reports of limited support on the A900 seem to have been addressed in recent software upgrade.

I personally have the T608, A920, and A900. All seem to be good choices. None of the SPRINT PCS phones seem to have snap in adapters available.
