Subject: rusty wheels

I recently purchased a 2005 z4 on e-bay from an eastern state dealership. The ad stated "no visible rust" when the car arrived here in California I noticed that all four inner wheels (drums, cylinders etc ) were totally rusted out (see attached photos ) I confronted two dealerships here in the San Diego area and they said that it was due to negligence and that the full maintenance warrantee was not in affect here. The dealer who sold me the car said it should be covered by the warrantee and stated he would get back to me when he found out, of course that was three weeks ago and have not heard word one from him. I suggested that he contribute at least half of the 800.00$ that it cost me to replace them but he would not even do that. Is there anyone out there that faced with this dilemma would not expect BMW to step up and assume some liability here considering that this is a 2005 with only 12,000 miles. Thanks Jerry Wood bowlingfun@cox.net
