My ULF module is PN 84.21-6 955 522-03, and it is labeled "ULF MIT SES." I took a little German, and "mit" translates to "with" in English, so I assume that this translates to "ULF WITH SES." Also, the -522 ULF is supposed to have the SES capability built-in, so I figure that the capability is in there, but disabled through BMW coding.

Essentially, when I push and hold either the pairing button or the steering wheel button, nothing happens. When I swap back to my earlier ULF module, the voice recognition works perfectly.

Does your ULF module provide you the voice recognition capability by itself? Or, do you also have the separate SES module in your car?
