in case of switching from automatic trans to manual gear, some electronic mods are necessary:

In case of:
-DME/ECU -159:(that is the pre-facelift engine) pins 51 and 54 have to be connected to ground/earth

-DME/ECU 352 (the ts the facelift engine): pins 64 and 63 have to be connected to ground/earth.

UNLESS:
it is an AGS-transmission! There are different pins, but that was not available for pre-facelift engines.

I have noted down information for both M70 engine types, as I am not sure if he is talking about facelift engine or facelift model (all E32 M70), as from end of 1990 the DME/ECU -352 was used.

On both models/types they are the pins 24 and 25 at the gear connector/plug.

Some data from the first test run (copied:

Oh yeah! It's working:)
The enginge is a spectacular power source in a car like this.
To give you a hint of what this kind of engine does with an E30:
0-100km/h is a mere 5,1 seconds - from SECOND gear!!!!
0-150km/h (still from second - 1. is waste of time and tyres) goes by in 9,3 seconds. I'll be back with more info on times when tha car ha got proper racing tyres on and the wheel angles are accurately adjusted.

Anyway, I would like to thank you guys - and especially Shogun - so very much. I could not have done this without you. I am very impressed by this community and will spread the word to friends all around:)
