If the judicial system cooks him, all his moron buddies get to claim victory and recruit more of them. By sending him to prison he may get taken out the old fashion way. A guy who was convicted of killing small boys and then cutting them up was sentenced to 'life in prison' because of no death penalty in that state. He lasted a couple of months as even criminals have some standards.
