unusual about wet driving conditions in the e23. I think that's mostly a matter of the tires, though. This e23 has the standard Michelin TRX metric tires. They were probably the best tire 18 years ago, but they're not as good as the MXV4+'s on my e38. The previous owner splurged at $220 each for a set of four new TRX tires, which are still in excellent condition. I'm planning to run them until the tread wears down (which will probably be a while as we don't drive much) then switch to standard-sized wheels and more readily available tires, too.
