cost of a trip. We get about 21-25 mpg so with gas in the lower $2 range the cost of a trip is about 10% of the miles. So 1300 miles is about $130! Such easy math.

Now for a little rant about the fools in washington (not political, I just think almost all politicians are crooks, cheats, and con artists) and the spending on the war.

The news reported the other day the US is going to about $400 Billion for the war. They have been at war about three years. So since the US uses 18.85 million barrels of crude a day times three years and this total divided into the total war dollars, the US could have lowered the cost of oil by over $19 per barrel simply by subsidizing the purchase with that money.
