Subject: New transmission mounts and rear pittman arms have dramatically improved (m)

the ride in my '86 735i. The transmission still shifts a bit hard on occassion from 1st to 2nd, but no where nearly as rough as it was before. I have to wonder if the worn-out transmission mounts were allowing the transmission to jerk around, metal against metal. In addition, the new pittman arms in the rear have all but eliminated the vibration coming from the rear wheels, which I had assumed to be improperly balanced wheels. Special thanks to Ron and his crew at Performing Imports in Alpharetta, GA for taking good care of me!
