I finally had time to work on the problem this past weekend. I ordered a new front pulse generator. The reason being is that sometimes the ABS light didn't come on and then if I did a hard stop I could "feel" the front brakes start to "slip". I know that's probably not a good indication of where to start, but I thought it could be, so that is why I got one PG for the front. Unfortunately I didn't think through what I was "feeling", so I mistakenly started with the side that was "slipping" when I should have started with the side that was locking up. Turns out I the PG on the driver's front was bad.

Now I have another question. Any advice on how to seal the connections. Of course since the car is 18 years old and all the engine has disintergrated the couplings. Is there even any way to replace the plastic couplings/boots or is it easier to use shrink tubing and maybe some type of silicone in the boot of the new PG?

Many thanks for the advice!!
