Subject: CAUTION - AdvancedAutovations routinely runs scams on purchases

I would urge significant caution in considering using Advanced Autovations. Parag and his company have created a very bad reputation for themselves in the parts and service that they provide. Many bad testimonials can be found by searching for "Parag" and "Advanced Autovations" on this site, Roadfly.org message boards, and bimmerforums message boards.

In my situation, Parag took a month to ship me the parts. I immediately had the same problem you're encountering (and others) and could not get in touch with Advanced Autovations for 3 MONTHS. My calls, messages, and E-mails went unanswered. Finally, a "secretary" answered the phone and said that she could only take a message. I told her that I was returning all parts and was filing a claim with my credit card company. Suddenly, I magically received an E-mail from Parag acknowledging that his website advertises one product kit, but he shipped another one requiring significant removal of the car interior for installation in the B-pillar. I continued to have problems with the company and was ignored unless I was making contact with my credit card company. Thankfully, the card company sent him the claim and refunded my entire purchase.

I fear that you're encountering the same situation and that you'll get no response from AA unless you do likewise. In any case, I hope it works out for you.

For more information, anyone's welcome to send me an E-mail.
