I just came back from my uncle's shop and after inspecting my car, I am so happy to find out that the output shaft seal on the transmission isn't the problem with my tranny leak, it's the pan gasket! What the hell good is that you might ask??? Well, I have a warranty on my driveline and both of those things would have been covered, but the thing that makes me most happy is that they now have to replace my tranny fluid in my car! Liquid GOLD in that there tranny! I was told $500.00 bucks worth to be exact! Now somebody else is picking up the tab! I didn't find anything else wrong with my car, so I will probably be losing money on the warranty thing...but oh well, I gotta get something out of it! I inspected several other things while I was walking under the car and found that everything looks real good under there! No rust, no other leaks and everything looks so purdy with the BMW logo on everything! Well, I have the day off and I'm going to go to Caribou coffee this evening even though we aren't officially having our gathering until next week! If you want to meet me there, I'll be on the patio at around 7:15-7:30 this evening. If they don't have the chairs out there yet, maybe I'll be inside!
